Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:

            Dental Assistants are people who really increase the efficiency of the dentist by them providing a quality oral health care.

Salary:

            Depends on the responsibilities related with the specific position

Education:

`           It is relatively easy you must take a course which is provided at community colleges

Reflection:

            I would not like to become one of these assistants because they don’t get paid as much as the dentist themselves.

Dental Lab Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

          A dental lab technician can be seen as both a science and an art form.  Since each dental patient's needs are different, the duties of a dental laboratory technician are comprehensive and varied. They work directly with dentists by following detailed written instructions and using molds of the patients teeth to craft what the patient is looking for.

Salary:

          The salary of a dental lab technician really depends on his/her skills demonstrated.

Education:

          Dental lab technicians may get their training or education through a two year program at a community college

 Reflection:

         I believe that this type of  field in careers is pretty cool because it mixes up science and art to create what people need for their teeth.

I believe that the first two reasons are correct because 1 you don’t have to do something you don’t want to do and 2 no matter how hard you try reality will always come out so might as well face it head on but 3 I believe it is your choice and you do want you choose to do.

Definition:

          Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principals

Examples:

Integrity in the workplace is:

Work when you’re on the clock

Follow company policies

Respect CO-Workers and build trust

And exhibit responsible behavior

Dentist

Duties and Responsibilities:

          Dentists are healthcare professionals who provide preventive and restorative treatments for problems Most dentists work as self-employed practitioners in general practice, providing dental care to the public under the National Health Service (NHS)  and/or privately affecting the mouth and teeth. 

Salary:

          $151,377 annually

Education:

          Most dental students acquire a bachelor’s degree prior to entering dental school. No specific undergraduate degree is required students commonly take science courses in biology, anatomy, and chemistry.

 Reflection:

          I would not like to become a dentist because it falls under medical school and medical school is way to expensive
