When you Tell One Lie it Leads to Another

Paul Hatch

When you tell one lie, it leads to another                         so you lie and lie without even trying

So you tell two lies to cover each other                                 and each lie you tell will keep

Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,                                                multiplying

You’re in trouble up to your ears!                                 ‘Till the whole wide world will know

So you tell four lies to try to protect you                                            you’re lying

Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect                                      then you’ll be

You                                                                                                       Suspected

Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect                                                Detected

A life filled with worries and fears                                                      Rejected

‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies                                        Neglected

You’ve told                                                                                           Disliked

And half the things you say aren’t true                                               And you should!

And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up                     when you lie, you’re closing the door

And their                                                                                      on everything good

Whatever will become of you?

Always Speak the Truth

Paul Hatch

Reflection:
I disagree with this topic because someone can lie once and make a big scenario out of it. This person can learn from his great mistake and never lie again in his/her life.

3 questions
1.  Can people trust me to do what’s right?

2.  Am I committed to doing my very best?

3.  Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?

“If the answer to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail”

Lou Holtz

 Reflection:

My answer to all of these questions are yes. I respond yes to them because of the sport football. Football has turned me into a better person overall because it taught me to be responsible, committed, and respectful.

Physical Fitness

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”

President John F. Kennedy

Reflection:

I do believe and agree with this quote 100% because people who are healthier tend to have better memory and abilities to learn faster.  Unlike unhealthy people which all they do is stay in bed and not do a single thing all day long.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving has been around for many years but the way it started is an amazing story. It all started with a ship named the Mayflower left ashore from Plymouth with 102 passengers. These people left because they were seeking freedom to freely practice their own faith. They also left due to the fact that they could receive land ownership. The trip from Plymouth to the tip of Cape Cod was an uncomfortable 66 day trip.  The Pilgrims who settled the land were the ones who created the thanksgiving tradition.

Reflection:
Since thanksgiving is a holiday which you give thanks for what you have I have created a list of the things I am thankful for.
       I.            Thankful for my family
    II.            Thankful for my health
 III.            Thankful for my education
IV.            Thankful for my teachers
   V.            Thankful for my strength
VI.            Thankful for my coaches
VII.            Thankful for my ability to lift weights
VIII.            Thankful for my home
IX.            Thankful for my good grades in school
   X.            Thankful for people who support me
XI.            Thankful for my friends

XII.            Thankful for my intelligence

Acts of Kindness

Basketball video

I believe that the basketball video was the video with the most kindness because the boy who was treated kindly was special. He had a mental disorder and had a passion for basketball even though his disorder stopped him from playing. The coach put him in the game and the boy was so excited even though he did not know what to do he played his heart out. The other team noticed this and for the final shot the other team member gave the ball to the boy and he made the last shot of the game. Although the team lost by 15 points both teams won just from the act of both teams which was kindness.

These are the three magic keys to living your life with integrity
